Sugar Creeks Farms is the combined effort and passion of Arlan Mohr and Brad Chapman to develop and market high quality show cattle. Our program currently consists of approximately 60 brood cows. We are members of the American Simmental Association, American Maine Anjou Association and the American Chianina Association. We practice the extensive use of AI and embryo transfer to continually increase the genetic value of our herd and the cattle we sell.
In addition, we utilize genetically and phenotypically superior natural service sires to ensure high quality calves from every mating.
We were both raised on cow calf operations in Sugar Creek Township in Cedar County, Iowa where we were actively involved in 4-H and exhibiting cattle. We both attended Iowa State University and were integral members of the ISU Livestock Judging Teams in 1994 and 1995, respectively. |
